Selling too much is my actual job…

You’ll never believe what just landed in my inbox a few minutes ago.

It was and email from someone that simply said, “You sell too much.”

Well, butter my biscuit and call me a saleswoman, that’s literally what I do for a living! It’s like telling a chef they cook too much food. Or complaining that your hairdresser cuts too much hair.

Let’s get real for a hot minute here. You joined my email list because something wasn’t working in your business. Maybe your sales were as dry as my attempt at making turkey last Thanksgiving. (Trust me, it was BAD.)

I gave you some free stuff to help, and that’s awesome. But here’s the deal – it’s like giving someone an aspirin for a migraine. Sure, it helps, but wouldn’t you rather know how to prevent the headache altogether?

When I see entrepreneurs struggling to sell their amazing products, it breaks my heart. It’s like watching someone try to cut their lawn with nail scissors. There’s a better way, folks!

And yes, I’m going to keep offering solutions. Why? Because I’ve seen what happens when good businesses fail. It’s not pretty, and it’s usually completely preventable.

Think about it this way. If I discovered the cure for cancer, wouldn’t I be a total jerk for keeping it to myself? (Too far? Well, you get what I’m trying to say here, right!?!) That would be like finding the world’s best chocolate chip cookie recipe and not sharing it. (And I’m not that kind of monster.)

Bottom line, if you’re receiving this email, you’re an entrepreneur (or aspiring to be one soon.) Here’s some of the best advice you’ll ever get from a business coach.

You can’t get clients if you don’t ask for the sale.

It’s not about being pushy; it’s about believing in the value you bring to the table. If you’re not confident enough to offer your solution, how can you expect your potential clients to believe in it?

So, start selling more.

P.S. If you need help creating a sleaze-free sales system, join The Extraordinary Entrepreneur Community, and I’ll help you. When you’re ready to stop struggling and start selling – the door’s open.
