(“Riled up” is that actually a thing? Anyway, you get the point…)
Ever notice how many “gurus” claim you need decades of experience to teach anything? That’s complete nonsense.
I started my business when I was still figuring things out myself. And want to know a secret? Many of my early clients got better results than me!
Here’s the truth nobody talks about: Being 10 steps ahead doesn’t make you the best teacher. Sometimes, being just one step ahead is best.
Remember learning to ride a bike? The kid who just figured it out yesterday gives better tips than the pro cyclist. They remember the wobbles. They know exactly what you’re feeling.
That’s why people will follow YOU even when “better” experts exist. You understand their struggles because you just lived through them.
I used to worry about not being “expert enough.” Then, I realized MY struggles and solutions were exactly what others needed.
Your journey, including the messy parts, is your superpower. Those “better” experts? They forgot what it feels like to be new.
You know what’s funny? The more I embrace being a work-in-progress, the more people connect with me. They see themselves in my story. And others will see themselves in yours.
I hope this inspires you if those guru’s got you double-thinking your value.
P.S. You know the drill. I want you to join The Extraordinary Entrepreneur Community. It’s where we celebrate progress over perfection. No pretending to have it all figured out.
P.S.S. Why a picture of a emu you ask? We went to a petting zoom recently and I thought he was cute – so I wanted to share 🙂
