I had someone reach out to me today asking for business advice again. The same person who’s been “reaching out” for THREE YEARS!
And you know what? They still haven’t started their business. Not even a website. Nothing.
Look, I get it. Starting a business is scary. It’s like jumping into a pool without knowing how deep it is. But at some point, you gotta take the plunge.
These folks remind me of my neighbor’s cat. Always staring at birds through the window, tail twitching, ready to pounce. But never actually going outside to catch one. (Don’t worry, the birds are safe – it’s an indoor cat).
Here’s the thing that drives me absolutely bonkers: They keep asking the SAME questions. Over and over. But never do anything with the answers!
It’s like having a GPS but refusing to start the car. You can have the perfect route mapped out, but if you never turn the key, you’ll never get anywhere.
Want to know the secret to success? It’s embarrassingly simple: Just. Start. Moving.
Take messy action. Make mistakes. Fall on your face a few times. That’s how you learn to dance – not by watching YouTube tutorials forever.
I’ve made more progress from my “whoops” moments than from all the perfect plans combined. And trust me, I’ve had some spectacular face-plants along the way.
