Keep pushing through the holidays…

My in-laws are visiting for a month right now. They’ve completely taken over my kitchen. It looks like Santa’s cookie factory exploded in there. They’re making thousands of cookies for our annual “Christmas Cookie Drop.”

We dress up in full Whoville gear and deliver treats to friends and family. Make eye contact with us? Boom – you’re getting cookies too!

I tried helping once. Let’s just say burning chocolate in under 2 minutes isn’t a skill to brag about. They politely suggested I stick to business stuff. (Translation: Get out of our kitchen.)

But you know what? This cookie chaos is perfect. While they’re living their best Keebler Elf life, I’m getting a little work done.

Here’s the thing: the holidays don’t have to mean hitting pause on your dreams. Yes, soak up the family time. Wear ugly sweaters. But there are always pockets of time to keep moving forward.

Maybe you wake up an hour earlier. Or put those visiting relatives to work. (Trust me, they’re probably looking for something to do anyway!)

The truth is January 1st won’t magically make everything easier. There will always be a reason to procrastinate. But the people who make progress? They don’t wait for perfect timing—they make the most of the time they do have.

Speaking of which… if you’re ready to kick 2025’s butt and not wait for some magical Monday to start, come join us in The Extraordinary Entrepreneur Community.

We’re a bunch of action-takers who don’t make excuses – or let holiday distractions detail us because building a business isn’t about perfect timing; it’s about making the most of the time you have.
