That doesn’t mean hitting every goal. That doesn’t mean everything always goes according to plan. But it does mean controlling the one thing that’s always within your power—your consistency.
Are You Really Too Busy… or Just Avoiding the Hard Stuff?
As she talked, I listened.
She walked me through everything she had to do that day:
- Drop the kids off
- Go to the gym
- Run errands
All important. All necessary. But guess when she did them?
During her peak business hours.
And she’s not alone. I see this ALL the time—entrepreneurs filling their schedules with necessary (but flexible) tasks while avoiding the uncomfortable work that actually moves their business forward.
Because let’s be real—it’s way easier to reorganize your pantry than it is to write that sales page. It’s easier to fold laundry than it is to make cold calls.
Her problem wasn’t her husband’s lack of support. Her problem was her own avoidance.
The Truth Hurts… But It Also Helps
She didn’t love hearing this. But she knew it was true.
Because for every entrepreneur balancing kids, errands, and workouts—there’s another entrepreneur doing all that AND still running a thriving business.
So here’s my challenge for you: Be honest with yourself.
Are you actually too busy?
Or are you using busyness to avoid the things that scare you?
