This came up today on a coaching call with a client so I thought I’d share. There are 3 habits that I often see that kill an entrepreneur’s progress. They are:

  • Procrastination
  • Perfectionism
  • Delegation

Procrastination is the thief of time, quietly snatching away precious moments that could have been spent productively. It’s a habit that cloaks itself as comfort, but in reality, it creates a backlog of tasks and heightens stress.

Perfectionism can be a double-edged sword. While it drives us to excel, it can also trap us in a cycle of never feeling ‘ready enough.’ It’s crucial to realize that, good enough is better than perfect. Perfectionism, in its extreme form, can halt progress, keeping us from taking those vital steps forward.

And then, there’s Delegation – or rather, the lack of it. As entrepreneurs, it’s tempting to micromanage every aspect of our business. However, this can lead to burnout and stifle the growth of the business. Learning to delegate is essential if you’re serious about growing a business.

Master these, and your life changes forever.
